Our awards program is designed to honor the accomplishments of our members and inspire them to continue pushing themselves to new heights. These are the NBHA’s most prestigious awards! A custom silver belt buckle is awarded to commemorate the accomplishments of the individuals who earn these awards.
NBHA Bowhunter of the Year Award
The Bowhunter of the Year is given to the individual that has shown outstanding dedication to the sport of archery throughout the year. The award is based on an archer’s accomplishments at harvesting game, along with their overall involvement in the sport of archery. Points are given for the number of days spent in the field, attendance and participation in NBHA events, participation in wildlife conservation, archery and bow hunter education, as well as for the animals one has harvested.
The deadline for applying is March 31 of each year.
